
A similar map to 3tctf10 and quite a popular one. Very fast intense
matches are always seen on this map and quick thinkers are what is
needed, as well as someone who can rail, as the main respawning point
is in the middle area and has only a RG for comfort. But beware as
teams place defenders by this area covering both entrances into all
the bases. Attacks from above and below the flag are the inlet points
for players. The main entrance is ground level and is on a corner
of the base making it hard to get more than one shot off at an attacker
if the defence gets wise. Above the flag is a must for placing a defender
as an attacking would-be FC can jump down, grab the flag and get back
out the base without his feet touching the floor if he's allowed.
The PS is also above the flag and is situated in a little alcove across
a moving platform in each base. The GL is there to keep a defender
with a weapon but that is it as the only other help is by some health
packs and the YA so give your first PS to this defender. If he does
his job right he'll have a more straight forward time defending the
base/flag from here than his team-mates below as the ramp leading
down to the middle area is straight forward to defend so all he has
to worry about is the lift just next to him. Attackers can get tooled
up and tooled up again but they will die rather frequently. There
are really only 2 ways to win a game on a map like this, one is to
consistently attack the same team while keeping your base safe, where-as
the other is to let the other teams do the hard work in getting the
flags and then steal them off them in the middle. Both of which require
patience and flexibility. There are enough ledges, walls and helpful
areas though to keep an FC alive for a time so use them to good effect.
