by: LJ | Do you remember the UKCCL? More than 10 seasons of 4v4 TDM. The place where TDM in the UK started!
Well I'm rebuilding the site over at http://www.ukccl.net and need results, screenies, demos, admin names etc... of anything from Season 10 onwards. As you will see I have it setup for the first 9 seasons (which I'm still adding data to), but need the rest of it's history.
I'm only concerned about the 4v4 (Bloodbath) league not the 4v4v4v4 league.
Please email me anything you have from Season 10 onwards. If you were an admin during the life of the UKCCL then email me too so I can add you to the Admin's page :)

by: Slave | Ever thought about jumping out of an airplane without a parachute while 10,000 feet up? Well LJ's not only thought about it but will be actually doing it in May .. !
To raise money for the Red Cross he's going to be taking a Tandem Skydive from 10,000 feet, falling at over 120mph until 5,000 feet when hopefully! the parachute will open and he'll land safely somewhere.
The crux is that he needs to raise £340 to do the jump. If you'd like to make sure he has the funds to make the jump then please support him and ..

by: Psycho | Well my apologies for my poor performances during the last few weeks, I have not had 100% focus and have not done as good by you all as I should of done. The tables are out of date, no news update for several weeks and a couple of weeks where I've had to cancel things. As such unfortunately I no longer have the time nor drive to run the league as I did when it started, I feel I must apologise to all clans they have bothered to show up week in week out and put in performances.
However several things have happened to me personally recently which has meant I've not been able to perform my task as head admin. As such from further notice the Savage Q2DM league is cancelled unless a new head admin comes forward to run the league, again I do apologise to all clans they have taken part and made the effort, it is not fair on you, but I feel rather than leave the league to die off without saying anything, this news update was needed. So until further notice, the doors are locked.

by: Psycho | Well week one was a mixed success, several clans didn't even realise it was league night, as such there's 2 games yet to be played and one default. As such just to let everyone know so they have no excuses, games will be played every thursday at either 20.00 or 20.30 depending on what division you're in. Week 2 will be on Q2DM2 and is on this coming Thursday.
All results from week one are now updated and live on the website, there are still 2 games to be played however, Curse vs Ai and PM vs HBQ, could you please let me know what is happening with these games as soon as possible. Play also defaulted their first weeks game and have made no attempt to contact me or reply to my attempts to contact them, as such should they fail to show up this coming week, they will be withdrawn from the league.
Other than that, all went smoothly, some clans didn't have the skins, this is your responsibility to sort out and should have been done way in advance of games, you have had plenty of notice, but for anyone who doesn't have the skins yet, get them here. Feel free to rename full brights to the Savage skin names as I know they can be quite difficult to differentiate between.
On a final note quake2.be are running coverage of the league and you can find their seasons predictions here. I look forward to seeing you all this coming Thursday for another great night of gameplay.

Anyway, just a quick update to say that the league kicks off for proper tonight which you should all be aware of having followed the news all week anyway. Also a couple of division changes, CURSE have swapped all fixtures with HBQ. So HBQ are now in division one and CURSE are now in division 2, this will be updated on the league page as soon as I can get someone to do it. So enjoy your games tonight!

by: Psycho | Right apologies for the tardyness of this update, I know I said Friday and it is now Monday, but better late than never I suppose. It was due to a communications problem I'm currently having with Savage, the fixtures have been handed to LJ who I'm waiting for to put up on the site, however he has not as yet done so, this being impractical as the first games start this Thursday. So in the mean time I will post the fixtures here and hope they get added to the site before Thursday, again apologies, but this is something I don't have access to do.

by: Psycho | Well tonight was a mixed success but definately served its purpose, we discovered what clans were up for the league, which had folded, which hadn't read the rules and quit and which clans just left cos they couldn't hack it. I will be updating the league (hopefully) tommorow with tables and divisions and full maplist and fixtures. So keep your eyes open here, read on for more.
MTL vs SQS - Default win to SQS, MTL have folded
VH vs Play - Default win to Play, VH couldn't get together a team, they will still be entered in the league however.
EC vs OK - Match played EC 40 - OK 196
Dream vs FOE - Match played Dream 146 - FOE 32
ECf vs Solaris - Match played ECf 83 - Solaris 131
PM vs m - Default win to PM, m left the league as they didn't read the rules which didn't suit them.
A.F vs Vires - Default win to Vires, A.F were a no show.
eS vs Curse - Match played eS 79 - Curse 89
COD vs AI - Default win to AI, COD couldn't get together a team, however I have been unable to contact them about this and as such will not be entered in the league.
LE vs HBQ - Match played, LE during the game quit the when they began to lose, default win to HBQ. LE are henceforth banned from the league.
This despite looking dissapointing was an extremely helpful week in deciding who stays and who goes, as such the clans remaining in the league are listed below, if you believe you are among them and are not, please contact me asap.
SQS, VH, Play, EC, OK, Dream, FOE, ECf, Solaris, PM, Vires, eS, CURSE, HBQ, AI. This leaves us with 15 clans, which will two divisions of 8 clans. Also a new clan joined the waiting list today sYnthesis, who I will try and fit in to the league.
Many thanks for all clans that did show up and play tonight, again apologies to those that showed up and their opposition didn't, this week was a required evil and will not happen again. Good luck to all.

by: Psycho | Warmup week kicks off tonight, hopefully there won't be too many defaults, however should there be, we still have a couple of clans on the waiting list. I wish all clans best of luck and will report results here hopefully later tonight as and when I get them. Savage league skins will be in use, get them here. Read on for more information.
There are also still 2 clans on the waiting list for league places. Please can everyone have a representative in #syn 5 minutes before the game with your clan tag so I know what clans are present and what clans are not present, you will be handed the games IP once both clans have showed up.
The one changed in tonights lineup is COD vs QP, it now COD vs AI as QP have changed name/reformed to become AI, this was meant to be played last night, however COD couldn't field a team, I will be contacting them to find out if they're still available to play in the league. by: Psycho | Well I'm back after my operation and things are dandy. Games will commence next Thursday (29th Jnuary), a warmup week only to make sure all clans they have signed up are serious about doing so, you've had a weeks warnings about these games and fixtures will be below, any clan failing to show up without a good reason will not be entered in to the league.
Three clans signed up currently are still not eligible to play in the league:
Blackmass
Drunk Old Skool Quakers
Clan Vibez
As such they will not have any fixtures and will not be included in the league, unless they sort out their squads before next Thursday. This leaves us with the 20 clans, which means should all of them show up to their games on Thursday; 2 divisions of 6 clans and one division of 8 clans. This season will be one match per evening and should this season have few/no problems I will look in to expanding this to 2 games per evening.
Down to business though, next Thursdays (29th January) games randomly drawn will be as follows:

If you have a problem with these fixtures please come and find me on IRC #savage or #dream . The league as of yet does not have a channel on IRC, #savage.q2dm is NOT the league channel, for now, we will be using #syn , so please make sure one representative from your clan is there on match night to get the ip for your game.
