by: Slave | Ever thought about jumping out of an airplane without a parachute while 10,000 feet up? Well LJ's not only thought about it but will be actually doing it in May .. !
To raise money for the Red Cross he's going to be taking a Tandem Skydive from 10,000 feet, falling at over 120mph until 5,000 feet when hopefully! the parachute will open and he'll land safely somewhere.
The crux is that he needs to raise £340 to do the jump. If you'd like to make sure he has the funds to make the jump then please support him and ..

by: Flapster | Firstly, a quick explanation. This is meant to be, a fun, on-off tourney. If it is a success and players turn up, a bigger tourney, or even league may follow. But this is a one day, one off event.
- Players must be in IRC (#ra2tourney) at 13:00 GMT, and at the latest by 13:15. That is when we will start drawing the teams.
- If you're not there, you will not be guaranteed a game
- not too many plans can be made until we know how many ppl will turn up. Format for games will be 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6, depending.
- if we have 8 teams, we will play a knockout tourney with losers' bracket. RA2map20 will be the round 1 map.
- if we have more teams than that, a mini-league will be set up with groups etc. Maps to be confirmed
- Map list is: ra2map20, ra2map24, ra2map27, ra2map28, ra2map1 and ra2map16
- when you're name is picked, you are REQUIRED to change your name to that team, i.e. [1]Flap etc. If you do not change within a reasonable amount of time, you will be put into the reserves pool. It is the only way the games can work
- Because of time restrictions, for round1, games will be either 15 mins or 20 mins, depending on the amount of ppl.
- Games will be decided on round difference. Therefore individual scores DO NOT matter, so remember to play as a team
- if the rounds are tied, a sudden death match will be played, and the first team to win the round... wins :)
- Games will start at 14:00, enough time for you to create IRC chans and sort tactics if you so wish
- Settins: DS = ON , Fall damage = ON , Armour damage = ON

by: LJ | Our host decided to do some "necessary" maintenance at 6am this morning GMT.
Network Maintenance

One of our vendors will be performing router maintenance.
You may experience some latency as BGP resets and the routes re-converge.
Some people couldn't get to our "new" box, which is where most of our sites are hosted, because of the routing issues at our host so sorry for any inconvenience caused.
